LG LSSG3020BD Warming Drawer Gas Range

LG appliance repair houston 261020

Most common issues on this model

  1. Burner lighting across the cooktop
  2. Oven igniter and gas valve
  3. Warming drawer slide and heat
  4. Convection fan operation

The LSSG3020BD is an older LG gas range. LG lists a 6.3 cu. ft. oven, ProBake Convection, a brass burner, a warming drawer and an UltraHeat 18,500 BTU burner. It is a Legacy model and remains in daily use in many kitchens.

With a warming drawer under the oven, there is more to inspect than a typical gas range. We test each burner, then the oven igniter and valve, the convection fan, and the drawer’s heat and slide. Gas joints are checked for leaks before we finish.

The label gives us model and serial before any order. A written price comes first, and the repair has a 30-day workmanship warranty.

LSSG3020BDLSSG3020BD questions
Why does one burner not light?

A blocked port, a misplaced cap or a worn electrode are common causes. We clean and test the burner before replacing anything, so the bill stays reasonable.

The oven preheats slowly. What is checked?

We test the igniter, the gas valve and the oven sensor, and check the door seal. A weak igniter can delay the gas valve and stretch out preheating.

Can the warming drawer be repaired alone?

Yes. We test its element, control and rails separately from the oven, and quote that repair on its own if the rest of the range is working well.
