Freezer is cold, fresh-food side is warm. What now?
On many frost-free models the freezer makes the cold air and a fan and damper send some of it to the fresh-food side. If that path is blocked by frost or a slow fan, the two sections drift apart. Keep the doors shut, move perishables to a cooler if needed, and have us diagnose it instead of turning the dial colder.
Can you repair the ice maker and Craft Ice system?
Yes. We check the water supply, the filter, the fill tube and the freezing and ejecting cycle. A frozen fill tube, a clogged filter or a weak water line is a common reason for slow ice, but we confirm which one before replacing anything.
My display shows a code but the refrigerator still cools. Is that urgent?
Not always. A code can point to a sensor, a fan or a mode setting, and the refrigerator may keep cooling for a while. Write down the code and when it began, check that food is still cold, and tell us when you book so we can judge the urgency.
