Discontinued by LG, the LSXC22426S is an older 22 cu. ft. counter-depth side-by-side refrigerator with smart Wi-Fi control, shallow enough to sit close to cabinet fronts. Its shallow body lets it sit close to the cabinet fronts in a kitchen where space is tight.

In a counter-depth side-by-side the freezer and fresh-food sections share one fan-driven air path, so uneven cooling often begins with that fan and the frost around it. We open the rear panel when needed, watch the defrost cycle, and compare the control reading with a thermometer. The door-ajar alarm gets a check of both door switches.
