LWS3010ST
LG LWS3010ST 30-Inch Single Wall Oven Repair

Most common issues on this model
- SmoothTouch panel that misses presses or beeps without responding
- Crisp Convection fan that is loud, slow or silent
- Self-clean cycle that locks the door and does not finish
- Bake temperature that runs low or high compared with the setting
The LG LWS3010ST is a 30 in single wall oven with Crisp Convection, self-cleaning, and SmoothTouch controls. It is an older model that many homeowners still have in the wall, and it installs in a standard 30 in cutout.
Our first checks on a unit like this are the SmoothTouch panel response, the bake element, and the sensor. With convection, we also spin-test the rear fan. When the self-clean cycle fails, the door latch and its switch are the first parts we look at.
We read the model and serial plate before ordering anything, then give you a price in writing. The workmanship is covered for 30 days.
Key features
- 30 in single wall oven
- Crisp Convection
- Self-cleaning
- SmoothTouch controls
What is Crisp Convection and does it need separate service?
It is the fan-assisted baking mode. The rear fan and its motor are serviced as a separate part from the heating elements, so a fan problem does not mean the elements are bad.
The oven door stays locked after cleaning. What do you check?
We check the latch motor, its switch and the cavity temperature. A latch that cannot confirm the cycle is over stays locked, and replacing it is usually a smaller repair than the control board.
Do SmoothTouch controls wear out?
The touch panel can lose sensitivity from moisture or a failing board. We test the panel and wiring first and quote the repair before replacing anything.
