LG LSWC307ST Combination Oven Repair

LG wall oven

Most common issues on this model

  1. Convection fan in the lower oven that is noisy or not circulating
  2. Oven temperature sensor readings that seem off
  3. Microwave door latch and switches in the upper cavity
  4. Touch control and display response
  5. Wi-Fi connection to the app

The LG LSWC307ST is an older combination double wall oven with a 1.7 cu. ft. microwave above and a 4.7 cu. ft. oven below. It is built into a cabinet tower and was sold as Wi-Fi enabled. As a legacy model, it is still found in many homes where the tower was fitted around it.

A combination unit has two separate cooking systems behind one control panel, so we test each one on its own. In the lower oven we look at the bake and broil elements, the convection fan, and the temperature sensor. In the upper cavity we check the door latch, the switches, and a timed microwave run. The touch control and display are checked last.

Because the cabinet cutout is tight, we plan carefully for removal when a repair needs it. We read the model and serial from the label before we order parts, which matters more on older models. A written price comes first, and the work is covered for 30 days.

LSWC307STLSWC307ST questions
Can you repair the microwave half and the oven half separately?

Yes. The two cavities have separate parts, so we test each one and price only what needs repair. If both are failing, we explain the total in writing before starting.

Is it still possible to get parts for an older LSWC307ST?

Availability varies by part. We check the label for the exact model and serial first, then confirm a part before quoting, so you are not asked to approve work we cannot finish.

Why does my lower oven take longer to heat than before?

On a convection oven, a weak fan, a slow element, or a temperature sensor reading off can all stretch preheat time. We test these in order and show the price before replacing any part.
