Most common issues on this model
- Oven that bakes at the wrong temperature
- SuperBoil burner that burns weakly
- Sealed burner that does not spark
- Oven that shuts off before the cycle ends
The LG LRG3091SB is a gas range with a large oven, a PreciseTemp bake system, a SuperBoil 17,000 BTU burner and five sealed burners. The ST and SW versions are other finishes. It is an older range still in many homes.
PreciseTemp ties bake performance to the oven sensor and igniter, so a wrong temperature leads us to measure the cavity and compare it to the setting. The fifth burner shares the same spark system as the rest. A weak SuperBoil flame calls for a port and air shutter check.
We use the label’s model and serial for every part order. The price is written down first, and a 30-day warranty applies.

Error codes this model can show
Why does my oven bake hotter or cooler than set?
The sensor may drift, or the igniter may cycle badly. We measure real temperature and test both. We report the real temperature to you, so you can see how far off the oven runs.
How many burners share a spark module?
The burners share a spark system, so one failing burner is often cap or electrode related. A module is a second step. One failing burner on its own almost never means the whole module is bad.
Is a yellow flame normal on the big burner?
Not normal. Dirty ports or the wrong air mix cause it, and we clean and adjust. We also check the pressure at the burner, which tells us if the supply is part of the story.
