The LSHD3680N is a 36-inch chimney hood in the LG STUDIO line, mounted on the wall over a wide range or cooktop. A hood this wide moves a lot of air, so the blower, the filters and the duct all have to be in good shape for it to clear a busy stovetop.

The touch panel on my LSHD3680N does not respond. What happens next?
We check the panel and its harness, then test the control board and the blower relay. A panel that is dead while the light works points to a different part than one that is slow, so we test before quoting.
Can a 36-inch hood lose suction even when the motor runs?
Yes. A packed filter, grease on the blower wheel, a stuck damper or a blocked duct can all cut airflow while the motor still turns. We check them in that order.
Will you need to remove the hood from the wall?
Usually no. Most work is done from below or by lifting the chimney cover. If the blower needs to come out, we plan for it and protect the cooktop and wall.
