The SDWD24P3 is a current LG top control dishwasher. It uses QuadWash technology, TrueSteam to help prevent water spots, LoDecibel operation at 45 dB, EasyRack Plus and a height-adjustable third rack.
Spots and film lead us to the steam feed and the water supply, and unevenly cleaned racks lead us to the arms and the filter. EasyRack Plus and the third rack move on rails that can wear, so we make sure they roll without tilting or touching the arms.

Why does my dishwasher leave water spots?
The steam stage, the rinse and the final dry all affect spotting. We check the inlet, the steam path and the vent. Mineral buildup in the water supply can leave spots too, so a filter screen check is part of our visit.
What makes the third rack height-adjustable?
Clips and tracks let it sit at different levels. If it sags or sticks, we check the clips, rails and wheels. Rack travel should be smooth and level, so we also check that the arms clear a raised rack.
