Most common issues on this model
- Burner that clicks without lighting or lights unevenly
- Lower or upper oven that will not ignite
- Oven igniter that glows but the flame is slow to start
- IntuiTouch panel that skips presses
The LG LDG3011ST is a gas range with a double oven design, 6.1 cu. ft. of gas oven capacity, four cooktop burners, and IntuiTouch controls. It is an older model, installed on a gas line with a regulator and a 120-volt outlet for ignition and controls.
On gas, ignition comes first for us: the spark module at the cooktop, and the hot-surface igniter and safety valve in the oven. A burner that clicks but does not light often has a wet or dirty cap; an oven that will not light often has an igniter drawing too little current. We shut off gas to inspect anything beyond the knob.
Model and serial on the label let us match parts exactly. The price is agreed in writing before work, and our repair has a 30-day warranty.

Why does my oven igniter glow but not light the gas?
An igniter that glows but draws too little current cannot open the safety valve. We measure the current and replace the igniter when it is weak, since a worn one often looks normal.
The burner keeps clicking but will not light. What do you check?
We clean the cap and port, check the spark electrode, and test the spark module. Wet or clogged ports are common, so we start there before opening the cooktop.
Is the double-oven layout serviced like a normal range?
Mostly yes, but each oven has its own ignition parts. We confirm which oven is affected before ordering anything. That keeps us from replacing an igniter on the working oven by mistake.
