Most common issues on this model
- Air fry mode that does not crisp
- Convection fan that does not run in air modes
- UltraHeat burner that lights unevenly
- Self-clean or EasyClean cycle that stops
The LG LDGL6924Y is a gas range with an air fryer, Probake Convection, an UltraHeat 20K BTU burner, air fry and air sous vide cooking modes, and both EasyClean and self-clean cycles. It sets freestanding on a gas line with a standard outlet.
The air modes rely on the oven fan and the temperature sensor. If crisping is weak, we spin-test the fan and check the sensor. Gas parts are checked on their own: the cooktop spark, the burner flame, and the oven igniter and valve.
We confirm the model and serial label before buying parts. A written price comes first, and the work has a 30-day warranty.

Error codes this model can show
Why does air fry on my range not crisp food well?
The fan, the sensor and the heat source all matter. We test fan speed, sensor accuracy and the oven burner flame, since a weakness in any of them lowers results.
Is an air fryer on a range serviced differently?
It shares the oven cavity, so we use the same fan, sensor and board, plus the mode logic. We test those and quote what is needed.
What if the self-clean cycle locks my door?
We check the door latch motor and its switch, then the sensor. A latch that cannot confirm the end of the cycle stays locked. If the latch tests well, the control board may not be telling it to release.
