LRE3023SB
LG LRE3023SB Convection Range Repair

Most common issues on this model
- Convection fan that makes noise or does not turn
- Cooktop element that is cold or heats slowly
- Oven that does not reach set temperature
- Touch panel that skips
Here is a 6.3 cu. ft. electric oven with fan convection, IntuiTouch controls and five cooktop elements: the LG LRE3023SB. The ST and SW versions are other finishes of this model. It is an older range found in many homes.
The convection fan sits behind the rear wall of the oven. We test its motor and listen for bearing noise when baking is uneven. Cooktop problems on a five-element surface are checked one element at a time, using the element, its switch and its connection.
We confirm the model and serial on the range label first. The price is agreed in writing and the repair has a 30-day warranty.

Error codes this model can show
The fan in my oven is loud. Can it be repaired?
Usually the motor bearing or a bent blade. We inspect both and replace the motor if the bearing is worn. A fan that squeals only on startup is usually a dry bearing and tells us the motor is near its end.
Why would only one element on the cooktop fail?
Each element has its own switch and wiring. A single cold element points to that element, its switch or a burned terminal. We confirm with a meter and show you the reading, so the part we replace is the one that failed.
Is the middle burner serviced differently?
The extra center element is the same type of part with its own control. We test it with the others. A cold center element usually has the same causes as any other, so the checks are the same.
