What does the Cookware Efficiency Indicator show?
LG says it tells you how well your cookware will heat. If it gives a poor reading with a pan that used to work, we check the element and sensing as well as the pan.
The flex zone heats one side of my pan only. Why?
One of the two elements may not be joining or heating. We test each element separately with one compatible pan, then the zone control that joins them, before anything is quoted.
Why would an induction element cut out under a big pan?
Heat or airflow limits can shut an element down. We check the cooling fan, the vents, and where the pan sits, and only then test the electronics.
