Most common issues on this model
- SuperBoil burner slow to light
- Uneven flame on one of the five burners
- Igniter clicking without lighting
- Grates that sit unevenly after cleaning
The LCG3611ST is a 36 in LG gas cooktop in stainless steel with five sealed burners, a SuperBoil 17K BTU burner, and continuous cast iron grates. It is a current model, and the LCG3611BD is listed as a variant.
Across five burners, we look for any that light slowly or burn unevenly, then clean the ports, check the caps, and test the igniters. The wide cast iron grates are heavy, so we also confirm they sit flat after any work. Stainless tops show scorch marks that can hide residue near the ports, so we clean carefully and compare each burner flame to the others. We also confirm the grates were placed back on the correct burners, since uneven placement can make pans wobble. Then we run each burner at high and low.
We match every part to the model and serial printed on the label. You get a written price first, and our 30-day workmanship warranty covers the repair.

How many burners does the LCG3611ST have?
Five sealed gas burners, including the SuperBoil 17K BTU burner. We test each one for spark, flame color, and how it behaves at low settings.
One burner takes several tries to light. Why?
A dirty igniter or blocked ports are the first causes. We clean and test them, check cap seating, and only then discuss a spark module.
Is the BD variant different?
The LCG3611BD is listed as a variant of this cooktop. We check the label to be sure which parts match your exact unit before ordering.
