A short routine
- Empty the drain tray after use and let it dry before sliding it back in.
- Do not leave water sitting in the tank for weeks between uses. Empty it if the Styler will rest for a while.
- Wipe the inside of the door and the cabinet floor with a soft cloth; moisture settles there.
- Clear lint and dust from vents and any filter area your manual shows.
- Leave the door slightly open after a cycle so the cabinet dries out.
Where to put it
A Styler needs space around it for air. Shoving it into a closet with no clearance traps heat and moisture and can make drying slower. Keep the area behind and above it free of boxes, and place it where a drain tray can be removed without tipping.
Signs the routine is not enough
A smell that returns right after cleaning, a tank that will not hold water, or a door that no longer closes against its seal means something is worn or blocked. Those are not things a cloth fixes. Wiping the seal clean is fine, but do not pry at it or force the door.
