U9CV2B
LG PuriCare U9CV2B UVnano Repair

Most common issues on this model
- UVnano LED that does not light or cycle
- Airflow that weakens over time
- Display that does not match the air quality
- Fan noise at higher speeds
- Unit that shuts down or loses power
The U9CV2B is an LG PuriCare air purifier that pairs True HEPA filtration with UVnano LED technology. It lists room-size air circulation of 818 square feet, a PM 1.0 sensor and an LCD indicator display, and multi-directional purified air flow. It is a Legacy model, an older unit still in many homes.
The UVnano LED sets it apart for service: we check whether the light operates and whether its switch and driver respond, before the fan, the filter seal and the sensor. The LCD, the airflow and the power supply are tested after that.
We confirm the model and serial from the label before ordering parts. The price is written before work, and a 30-day workmanship warranty backs the repair.

Does the UV light need to be replaced?
Not always. We check the switch and its driver first, as the cause is sometimes outside the LED itself. We tell you the price before replacing anything.
Why is the airflow lower than before?
A clogged or poorly seated filter is the most common cause. If a new one does not help, we test the fan motor. A clean, firmly seated filter should restore most of the airflow.
The display looks wrong. Where do you start?
We clean the PM 1.0 sensor window, compare the reading, and then test the board that drives the display. A cleaned sensor often fixes a stuck reading by itself.
