The SDNTHS72S is a current LG STUDIO dishwasher with FlushFit design, BlastZone Bottle Wash, a 1-hour wash and dry cycle, QuadWash Pro and Dynamic Heat Dry with AutoVent Dry. BlastZone is aimed at bottles and bakeware that sit in tall or awkward spots.
BlastZone adds dedicated high-pressure jets, so poor cleaning in that zone leads us to the jets, their feed and the pump. AutoVent Dry releases moist air at the end of a cycle, so if dishes stay damp we check the vent mechanism and heater as well.

What is BlastZone?

What does AutoVent Dry do?
It opens the vent at the end of the dry stage to let moist air out. If it does not move, dishes stay damp, and we check the vent motor and linkage.
Can I use the 1-hour cycle every day?
Nothing in the listing says otherwise. If it ends early or leaves dishes damp, we check heat and drain before anything else. Cycle length matters less than whether heat, venting and drain are working, and we check those during a test run.
