LSG4515ST
LG LSG4515ST Slide-In Gas Range Troubleshooting and Repair

Most common issues on this model
- Each burner's ignition and flame
- Oven igniter and gas valve response
- ProBake convection fan
- Slide-in fit, gas connection and leveling
The LSG4515ST is a discontinued LG slide-in gas range, an older model still in many homes. LG lists a 6.3 cu. ft. oven, ProBake Convection, EasyClean, five sealed burners at 17K BTUs and an UltraHeat 18.5K BTU power burner.
Because it slides in flush, we handle the gas line and power cord carefully when we pull it out. We test every burner, then the oven igniter, the gas valve and the convection fan, and we inspect the connection for leaks before putting it back.
Model and serial come from the label before any part is ordered. You approve a written price first, and the work is covered for 30 days.

The oven lights slowly or not at all. What happens next?
We test the oven igniter's current draw and the gas valve. A weak igniter can glow without opening the valve, so we measure it instead of guessing and replacing parts.
Is it safe to use the burners if the oven fails?
If you smell gas, leave the home and call your gas utility. If the burners work normally, they can often be used until we arrive, but please call us so we can diagnose the oven.
What does re-leveling a slide-in involve?
We adjust the feet so the cooktop sits flush with the counter and the oven is level. A level range also helps cakes and roasts cook evenly across the rack.
