LMC0975ST
LG LMC0975ST Compact Microwave Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Door switches and latch for a unit that will not start
- Turntable coupler and roller ring
- Control panel and clock display
- Cooking power that feels low
- Fan noise and interior lamp
The LMC0975ST is a NeoChef countertop microwave with a compact 0.9 cu. ft. cavity. That size suits dorm rooms, offices, apartments and secondary kitchens, where it is plugged in on a small counter and used daily for quick heating.
Small ovens tend to be used hard, so we begin at the places that wear: the door latch and its switches, the turntable coupler and roller ring, and the touch pad. If it starts but heats poorly, we test the heating section with the oven safely discharged. We also listen to the cooling fan, because a noisy or slow fan can cause the oven to shut down on temperature.
We confirm the model and serial from the label before ordering a part. A price is given in writing first, and the repair is warrantied for 30 days.

What does 0.9 cu. ft. mean for a microwave?
It is the cavity capacity, which makes the LMC0975ST a compact countertop microwave. Compact ovens work well on small counters, and we service them the same way: door, turntable, controls and heating.
Why does my small microwave stop partway through a cycle?
Shutdowns can come from the door switch, the cooling fan or an overheating protector. We test each, then run the oven with a load to confirm it finishes a full cycle.
Is a repair worth it for a small countertop unit?
It depends on the part. We diagnose first and give you a written price, so you can weigh it against replacement before agreeing to any work.
