LW1223ERSM
LG LW1223ERSM Window Air Conditioner for 550 Sq Ft Service
Most common issues on this model
- ThinQ app and remote response
- Cooling in a room near 550 sq ft
- Timer, Sleep and Auto Restart settings
- Coil icing and filter loading
- Window tilt and condensate drain
LG lists the LW1223ERSM as a window air conditioner for larger rooms up to 550 square feet, with ThinQ app control, Energy Saver mode, 4-way air direction, Auto Restart, a 24-hour timer and Sleep mode. The LW1223HR and LW1223HRSM versions are grouped under it.
Because three numbers share this entry, we are careful to read the full model and serial from your label before ordering a part. On the repair side we check the window install, filter and coil, then the fan and compressor start. Timers, Sleep mode and Auto Restart are control functions, so we run them. App problems get tested at the panel first. You approve a written price before we begin, and completed work carries a 30-day warranty.

Why does the listing show several model numbers?
Versions with different endings are grouped on one page. Parts can differ between them, which is why we order from your unit's label. The full number on the label settles which one you own.
My timer turns the unit off too early. What is checked?
We test the timer function at the panel, then the app and remote settings, since they can override each other. The board comes after that if the settings are not the cause.
How big a room can the unit handle?
The listing gives up to 550 square feet. Heat, sun and open doorways can reduce that in practice, so we confirm the unit itself is cooling properly before talking about sizing.
