What dn1, dn2, dn3, dn4 means
On LG Styler steam closets such as the S5WBC, dn1, dn2, dn3 and dn4 are not errors. They are downloaded preset cycles: dn1 is Fur and Leather Care, dn2 is Static Electricity Removal or Suits and Uniforms, dn3 is Jeans and dn4 is Down Jacket Care. Pants Crease is also listed with them. If you see one of these on the display, the closet is simply showing the cycle you selected.
Common causes of dn1, dn2, dn3, dn4
- A downloaded cycle was selected with the Special Care button
- The button was pressed more times than intended
- A cycle left selected from earlier use
1. Press Special Care repeatedly to move through the available cycles until you reach the one you want. 2. Check that the cycle on the display matches the garment you loaded. 3. Close the door fully and start the cycle. 4. If the display stays stuck on a dn code and will not change, let us know.
- If Special Care no longer cycles through the choices, the button or the panel needs checking on site.
- If the display shows a different code from dn1 through dn4, it is a separate message and we would read it directly.
- Any repair we quote comes with the price in writing first and a 30-day workmanship warranty.
