LG LMXC23746S CustomChill Counter-Depth Repair
Most common issues on this model
- CustomChill Drawer temperature selection
- SpacePlus ice maker fill and supply path
- Smart Cooling Plus sensors
- Freezer drawer seals
- Water line behind the counter-depth cabinet
The LMXC23746S is categorized as an LG counter-depth French 4-door refrigerator, 23 cu. ft., with a CustomChill Drawer, the Slim SpacePlus Ice System and Smart Cooling Plus. It is offered as D and S variants and is now an older model. Counter-depth units fit flush with the cabinet line.
The CustomChill Drawer lets you pick a temperature for the items inside, so we test whether the drawer reaches and holds the setting, looking at the damper, sensor and fan. For ice, the door-mounted maker depends on the water line, filter and valve. Smart Cooling Plus relies on sensors, which we check if temperatures are uneven. We check the full number and serial on the label, since D and S versions exist. The quote is in writing first, and the work is covered for 30 days.

Error codes this model can show
The CustomChill drawer is not cold enough. What is checked?
We compare the setting with the actual temperature, then test the damper, sensor and fan. These control the air entering the drawer, and a failure in any one of them lets the drawer drift away from its setting.
Is the ice maker accessible in a counter-depth model?
The maker is in the door, so access is similar to other models of this type. We check the water path and the maker, and we are careful with the line behind the unit.
Which variant do I have, D or S?
The label shows the full model number. The two variants share most parts, but we confirm yours from the label before ordering anything.
