LRSES2706V
LG LRSES2706V InstaView Side-by-Side Repair
Most common issues on this model
- InstaView panel and light response
- Door-in-Door latch and seal
- Ice maker and water valve
- Multi Air Flow fans and vents
- Freezer defrost operation
The LRSES2706V is a legacy InstaView unit still serving many families: a 27 cu. ft. InstaView Door-in-Door refrigerator with an ice maker and Multi Air Flow cooling. The brand shows it as discontinued today. The InstaView window lets owners see inside after a double knock.
On a unit of this type, the window light, the Door-in-Door gasket, and the freezer fan are the usual checks. Uneven cooling points us to Multi Air Flow and the fans; frost points to the gasket or the defrost parts.
Because the model is older, we confirm the model and serial from the label and check parts before ordering. You receive a written price before work, and repairs carry a 30-day workmanship warranty.
We also check the freezer fan and defrost parts if frost shows on the back panel.

Can you service an InstaView model that is no longer sold?
Yes in most cases. We confirm the model and serial from the label, check part availability, and quote in writing before starting. It is a common repair for older InstaView units, and we explain the price in writing first.
My InstaView window will not light. What happens?
We check the door closes fully, then the knock sensor, the light, and the power to the panel. We also check the seal around the glass, which can fog if it is worn, and confirm the panel gets steady power.
What does Multi Air Flow do?
It distributes cold air through the cabinet. If temperatures are uneven, we test the fans and vents and look for blockage. We test the fans and vents, clear any frost, and confirm the air reaches the lower shelves.
