WM3477HW
LG WM3477HW 24-Inch All-In-One Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Drying phase heat and moisture removal in the single drum
- Drain pump and filter between wash and dry phases
- Door seal and boot
- Drain and water hookups in a tight closet
The WM3477HW is an older LG 24-inch compact all-in-one: a front-load machine that washes and dries in the same drum. It uses an earlier generation of LG combo drying technology and was built for installations where only a small footprint is available.
Machines of this size usually go into a closet, a kitchen alcove or an apartment laundry nook. Since one drum does both jobs, we first find out whether the problem occurs in the wash phase or the dry phase, then check the drain pump and filter, the door seal, and the drying path.
In a tight closet, hoses and drain lines are often kinked behind the machine, so we look at them too. Because it is an older model, we confirm the model and serial from the label before ordering any part and tell you if one is hard to find. The price is written before work starts, backed by a 30-day workmanship warranty.

How wide is the WM3477HW?
It is a 24-inch compact all-in-one with a front-load design, which is why it is often found in closets and apartments. The narrow size also leaves little room behind it for hoses, so we check those.
Clothes wash but do not dry. What do you check?
Since one drum handles both phases, we separate them first, then check the drying path, the filter and the drain. On an older combo of this type, drying is usually where the work is needed.
Can an older model like this be repaired?
Often yes. We confirm the model and serial from the label before ordering, tell you ahead of time if a part is difficult to source, and give the price in writing before any work.
