What 67 means

Code 67 appears on LG refrigerators with an LED or LCD temperature display, such as French door, side-by-side, and top- or bottom-freezer models, and it may be shown as 67, Er 67, or E 67. It means a gap in the door, or an object inside the refrigerator, is keeping the door from closing properly. The owner sees the code, may hear an alarm, and the interior can warm or frost because outside air keeps getting in.

What usually causes code 67?

Most often an item inside is holding a door slightly open or a bin is out of place. Clear the shelves near the door, close it firmly, and see whether the code leaves the display.

Will code 67 hurt my food?

If a door stays ajar, the fresh-food section can warm and the freezer can frost over. Check that both doors seal, and move perishables to a cooler if you cannot get the gap closed.
