LG LF29S9775S MyColor Mirror Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Mirror InstaView window lighting and color response
- Mini Craft Ice maker and water path
- Convertible compartment setting against actual temperature
- Gasket contact all around the door edge
The LF29S9775S is a current LG French four-door refrigerator with a Mirror InstaView window. Knock twice and you can see inside without opening the door, and the MyColor feature changes the window color to one of five choices: Ruby Red, Sapphire Blue, Citrine Orange, Amethyst Purple or Emerald Green.
The window is the part we check first on this type of refrigerator: does it light on a knock, does the color setting change, and does the door still close tight afterward. Next come Mini Craft Ice, which relies on a healthy filter and water valve, and the convertible compartment, which we test by comparing its five settings with measured temperatures.
Label first, parts second: we read the model and serial before ordering. The estimate is written and approved before work, and 30 days of workmanship coverage apply afterward.

Which colors does MyColor offer on the LF29S9775S?
Five: Ruby Red, Sapphire Blue, Citrine Orange, Amethyst Purple and Emerald Green. If a color will not change or the window stays dark, we test the window lighting and its control.
What does the Mirror InstaView window do?
It lets you see inside after two knocks without opening the door. We check the knock sensing, the light, and whether the door seals well, because needless openings and poor gaskets both waste cold air.
Does this model have Mini Craft Ice?
Yes, it is introduced with Mini Craft Ice. When it is slow we start with the water supply and filter, then the freezing and release, rather than replacing the maker straight away.
