LMXC22626S
LG LMXC22626S Counter-Depth Four-Door Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Slim SpacePlus ice maker and fill
- Tall dispenser chute and lever
- Door Cooling+ vents
- Freezer drawer glides
- Water line clearance behind the unit
The LMXC22626S is presented as an LG French 4-door refrigerator with 22 cu. ft. of capacity, two freezer drawers and a tall ice and water dispenser. It uses the Slim SpacePlus Ice Maker and Door Cooling+, and it is sold in versions D and S. This is an older model that remains in many homes.
We begin with the ice and water, because the tall dispenser and the door ice maker share a supply. The filter, line and inlet valve come first, then the maker. Door Cooling+ vents should be clear so cold air reaches the door shelves, and the freezer drawers should glide and seal. If the unit sits tight against a wall, we check the water line for kinks while it is pulled out. Because the D and S versions differ slightly, we verify the full number on the label before ordering. A written price precedes the work, and we back it for 30 days.

Error codes this model can show
What do the D and S in the model number mean?
They are variants of the same model. We read the full number and serial from the label, so the right parts are ordered for your exact unit.
The dispenser works but ice is slow. Why?
The dispenser may be fine while the maker is limited by water flow or freezer temperature. We check the filter, valve and the freezer, then the maker.
Will you move the refrigerator to service it?
Yes, if needed. We protect the floor and the water line and check the line while the unit is out. The price is quoted before the work begins.
