What does Auto Cool do?
Auto Cool selects the cooling and fan behavior to reach the set temperature. If it never settles, we check the temperature sensor and the control board, not just the fan.
Why would only one fan speed fail?
Each speed uses a different winding or control path. We test all three settings so we replace only what has failed. Knowing which speed fails also helps us explain the cost to you.
Can an older smart unit be re-paired?
