WKEX300HBA
LG WKEX300HBA Tower Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Dryer heating and vent airflow for the 7.4 cu. ft. drum
- Washer drain pump and filter under a big load
- Steam supply used by TurboSteam and Allergiene cycles
- Control panel response on the center LCD
The WKEX300HBA is an LG WashTower with a 5.0 cu. ft. washer and a 7.4 cu. ft. dryer stacked in a single vertical unit. A center LCD panel runs both, AI technology picks wash and dry settings, and the washer offers TurboWash 360, an Allergiene cycle and TurboSteam.
This size of tower is usually set in a laundry room or a closet where it takes the floor space of one machine. Big drums mean heavy loads, so we begin with balance and leveling, then the drain pump and filter, then the dryer heat and vent, since a 7.4 cu. ft. dryer needs good airflow to finish loads.
If a steam cycle fails while normal cycles work, we trace the steam supply on its own. If the panel acts up, we check whether it affects one half or both. We read the model and serial from the label before ordering parts, give a written price before work starts, and cover the repair with a 30-day workmanship warranty.

What are the drum sizes on the WKEX300HBA?
The washer is 5.0 cu. ft. and the dryer is 7.4 cu. ft., stacked in one vertical unit. Large drums put extra demand on leveling, drainage and dryer airflow, which is where we start.
Steam cycles fail but normal cycles run. What do you check?
This model offers TurboSteam and an Allergiene cycle. When only those fail, we check the steam supply path and its water feed separately from the main wash path, so the price covers only what is needed.
Does the AI setting affect repairs?
The AI technology selects wash and dry settings, so a wrong cycle choice can look like a failure. We run manual cycles to separate a setting issue from a mechanical one before we suggest a part.
