WKGX301HBA
LG WKGX301HBA Gas WashTower Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Gas dryer ignition, burner and flame sensing
- Exhaust airflow through the vent run
- Washer drain pump and filter
- Cabinet balance on the leveling feet
The WKGX301HBA is a single-unit front-load LG WashTower with a gas dryer, in a larger-capacity tier that sits above the WKGX201 XL model. A matched washer and dryer share one cabinet and a single control panel, and it uses the current WKGX301 numbering.
Installation needs a gas connection and an outside vent, so the tower usually sits in a laundry closet or utility room. When something goes wrong we first decide which half is involved. On the dryer we check ignition, the burner and the vent run; on the washer we check the drain pump, the filter and balance.
Because models of this type move a lot of air, a crushed or lint-packed vent is high on our list even if the burner is working. We read the model and serial from the label before ordering any part. You get a written price before work starts, plus a 30-day workmanship warranty.

Where does the WKGX301HBA sit in the WashTower range?
It is the newest larger-capacity gas tier in this group, above the WKGX201 XL model. It keeps the same single-cabinet design with one control panel for the washer and the gas dryer.
The dryer starts but never heats. What is the first check?
We check ignition and the burner, then the exhaust. On a gas dryer of this type, a restricted vent can stop the burner early, so we test airflow before ordering anything.
Will you move the tower to reach the vent?
Sometimes it is needed. We tell you before we move it, check the gas connection and the vent while the unit is out, and put the price in writing first.
