What nC means

nC appears on LG front-load washers with an alphanumeric display that have an NFC module. It reports that the connection between the Display PCB and the NFC PCB module is not working. The WashTower washer half and the WashCombo are included. The owner sees nC, usually with the wash functions still available, but the tap-to-connect feature may not respond. The washer's main wash features generally remain available.

What is the NFC module for?

It lets a phone connect to the washer by touch. nC means the display board and that module are not connected properly. The module is for tap-to-connect use, and the code is a connection message, not a wash problem.

Does nC stop me from washing?

The code concerns the NFC link, so check whether cycles still start. If the washer stops, tell us exactly what it does. Check whether the cycles still run. If they do not, say so, since it changes how we plan the visit.

Is nC the same as nE?

No. nE concerns the Wi-Fi module and nC concerns the NFC module. They are separate parts, so we test them separately. The NFC module and Wi-Fi module are separate, so a different code points to a different part.
