LDNPQ44HS
LG LDNPQ44HS BlastZone Dishwasher Repair

Most common issues on this model
- BlastZone jets and bottle area nozzles
- Leak alert with a dry or wet base pan
- Third rack rail movement
- Drain pump and filter
- Water inlet valve and fill
The LDNPQ44HS is a top control dishwasher from LG that adds BlastZone bottle wash to the FlushFit design. LG also lists built-in leak detection, high-pressure jets, and a third rack. BlastZone is aimed at tumblers, pans, and bottles that do not wash well in a standard rack position. It is an under-counter unit.
Targeted jets mean targeted problems. When tall items come out dirty, we check the BlastZone nozzles for blockage and the water path leading to them. We then check the spray arms, filter, and fill. The third rack and the leak sensor are on our list as well: rails should glide, and the base pan should be dry when the sensor reports a leak.
Before any part is ordered, we check the model and serial printed on the label. A written price comes first, and our work carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.

Tumblers are still dirty in my LDNPQ44HS. What do you check?
We check the BlastZone nozzles and the water path to them, since a blocked nozzle weakens the targeted spray. Then we look at the filter, arms, and fill.
Is BlastZone serviced like the other spray arms?
It uses its own nozzles, so we clear and test those separately from the main spray arms. We also check that nothing in the rack or the third rack is blocking the jets aimed at tall items.
My dishwasher shows a leak alert but nothing is wet. What next?
We dry the base pan and inspect the door seal and hoses. If the alert persists, we test the sensor and wiring, and quote any part before replacing it.
