LK14S8000V
LG LK14S8000V Specialty Refrigerator Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Temperature sensors and zone control
- Convertible drawer damper and setting accuracy
- Multi-Air Flow fans and vents
- Door gasket seal on the flat door design
- Cooling Care controls
The LK14S8000V is a 14.3 cu. ft. LG specialty refrigerator with a modern flat door design. It uses Multi-Air Flow Cooling with seven temperature sensors and has convertible temperature zones in its drawers, along with Cooling Care temperature control and Freshness Guards. Owners often place a unit like this in a garage, bar or secondary kitchen.
With so many sensors, uneven temperatures usually point to a sensor reading, a damper that sticks or a fan that is slow. We compare the setting you chose with the actual temperature in each drawer, then test the damper and fans. The flat door depends on a clean seal, so we examine the gasket too. Parts are ordered from the model and serial on the unit label. We quote in writing first and cover our workmanship for 30 days.

Error codes this model can show
The drawer will not hold the temperature I set. Why?
We compare the setting with the real temperature, then check the sensor, the damper and the fan feeding that drawer. One of these usually explains a drawer that drifts.
Can this type of refrigerator work in a garage?
The listing does not give an ambient range, so we do not promise one. We check how it behaves where it sits and look at the airflow and the sensors.
What does the Freshness Guard involve for service?
We treat it as part of the cooling and control system. If temperature control is off, we test the sensors and fans. We explain what we find and quote before changing any part.
