Most common issues on this model
- True Convection fan that stays off
- Infrared heating element that stays cool
- Oven that takes too long to preheat
- Touch panel that ignores presses
Electric cooking on the LG LRE3025ST means a 6.3 cu. ft. oven, True Convection, an Infrared Heating System and IntuiTouch controls. It is an older model that many households still cook on.
True Convection uses a fan and a dedicated element at the back of the oven. We spin-test the fan, test the element, and check the sensor if cooking is uneven. The infrared element is separate and tested on its own when it stays cool.
We match the parts to the label’s model and serial. A written price is given first, and we back the work for 30 days.

What is the difference between convection and the infrared element?
Convection moves air using a fan and rear element. The infrared element is a specialized heater for the oven. They fail independently, so we test each.
My oven preheats slowly. What do you check?
We measure the bake and infrared element resistance and check the sensor. A weak element or a drifting sensor are the usual findings. If both read normal, we turn to the board and the wiring harness behind the control panel.
Can the touch panel be fixed without replacing the board?
Sometimes. We test the connection and look for moisture, then quote the board if needed. Sometimes the panel only needs its connector reseated, and we say so before suggesting any part.
