Most common issues on this model
- Burner ignition and flame quality on the SuperBoil burner
- Oven igniter heating and gas valve opening
- ProBake convection fan operation
- EasyClean cycle and door lock
The LSG4511ST is an older LG slide-in gas range with a 6.3 cu. ft. oven, ProBake Convection, EasyClean and a 17,000 BTU SuperBoil burner. LG lists it as discontinued, and it remains in many homes.
On a gas range, our first look is at ignition: do the burners spark, light and hold a steady blue flame, and does the oven igniter glow strongly enough to open the gas valve. After that we test the convection fan and the cleaning cycle lock.
We check the model and serial label before ordering parts. Gas connections are inspected for leaks when we finish. You get a written price first and a 30-day workmanship warranty.

Error codes this model can show
The oven will not heat but the burners work. Why?
The oven igniter is a likely cause, because it must draw enough current to open the gas valve. We test the igniter and the valve before recommending a part, and we price the work in writing.
What is the SuperBoil burner?
LG lists a 17,000 BTU SuperBoil burner for fast boiling. If it lights unevenly, we clean and inspect the burner head and igniter and check the gas supply to find the cause.
Do you check for gas leaks?
Yes. After reconnecting a gas range, we test the fittings for leaks before leaving. If we ever find a problem, we tell you before restoring service and explain what is needed.
