Most common issues on this model
- Steam supply and inlet water
- Drain pump and filter under extra-large loads
- Balance and leveling during spin
- Door seal and boot
The WM3070HRA is an older LG extra-large front-load washer with TurboWash and steam. It has load-sensing spin control and an electronic cycle control with a digital display, and it is sold in two finishes.
Extra-large front-load washers stand in laundry rooms, often on pedestals, which makes balance and leveling matter. When a steam cycle behaves differently from a normal one, we check the inlet and steam supply separately. For a wash that will not drain or spin, we look at the pump and filter, then balance.
The door seal and boot are checked on every visit, since steam and big loads wear them. This is an older model, so we confirm the model and serial from the label before ordering a part and tell you if one is hard to find. The price is written before work, with a 30-day workmanship warranty.

What does steam add to the WM3070HRA?
It adds a steam supply path on top of the normal fill and drain. If only the steam cycle fails, we test that path on its own so you pay only for what is needed.
Why does the washer walk during spin?
Extra-large drums are heavy. We check leveling, the load and the suspension. A pedestal makes it more noticeable, so we check the stand fit too.
Does the finish matter for parts?
The label does. We confirm the model and serial before ordering, since the model is sold in two finishes. Then we put the price in writing.
