WM3400CV
LG WM3400CV 4.5 cu. ft. Front-Load Washer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Direct Drive motor and balance with a full load
- Drain pump and filter
- Inlet valve and dispenser for ColdWash cycles
- Door seal and boot
The WM3400CV is an LG front-load washer with a 4.5 cu. ft. ultra-large drum. It has 6Motion technology, which uses different wash motions, ColdWash technology, a Direct Drive motor with a 10-year limited warranty, and ENERGY STAR certification. The WM3400CW is a variant.
It is usually installed in a laundry room next to a dryer. Because 6Motion changes how the drum moves during a cycle, noise or uneven tumbling sends us to the motor, the bearings and the balance. For poor rinsing we check the dispenser and inlet; for standing water, the pump and filter.
We confirm the model and serial from the label before ordering any part, since the CV and CW variants share this model number. You get a written price before work, and the repair carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.

What does 6Motion do on the WM3400CV?
It uses different wash motions in the drum for a thorough clean. If the drum moves unevenly or noisily, we check the Direct Drive motor, the bearings and the balance.
What is the WM3400CW?
It is a variant of the WM3400CV with the same 4.5 cu. ft. ultra-large front-load design. We read the label to confirm which one you own before we order parts, and the price is written first.
Is the Direct Drive warranty part of your repair?
No. Our repair has its own 30-day workmanship warranty. Before work we tell you whether the problem looks like a worn part or a setup issue, and we write the price down for you.
