We check its temperature setting and the airflow to it, then the fan and the sensor. A blocked vent from a stored item is a simple cause. If the airflow is clear but the drawer is still warm, we test the sensor and the control setting for that drawer.
Why does a 4-door unit run more?
Four gaskets means more places for warm air to enter. We check every seal and the condenser fan and coil. A weak seal on the drawer matters most, since the drawer is lower and gathers warm air from the kitchen floor.
Can you adjust a drawer that sticks?
Yes. We check the track and the basket fit, since a drawer that does not close lets in warm air. We also look for a bent track.
