My LFXS28596S ice maker is in the door. What does that change?
The water and power connection passes through the door, so we check that connection along with the fill valve and freezer temperature. If the ice slows only in cold weather, we also check the door seal near the ice compartment for frost.
The InstaView panel is dark. Do I need a new panel?

Does ThinQ need to be on for the refrigerator to cool?
No. Cooling works without it. If the app drops, we test the network and pairing apart from the cooling parts. The refrigerator controls its own temperature, so the app is only for alerts and remote settings.
