WM9700HPA
LG WM9700HPA Platinum Washer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- ezDispense reservoirs, pump and dosing lines
- Hybrid controls and display response
- Glass door hinge, latch and boot seal
- Spray nozzles and inlet screens for TurboWash 360
The WM9700HPA is an LG SIGNATURE front load washer with a 5.8 cubic feet Mega Capacity drum. It has a platinum finish with a flat front and a tempered glass door, hybrid controls, TurboWash 360 Technology, AI wash-setting selection and ezDispense, which doses detergent and fabric softener on its own.
ezDispense is the feature that sets this washer apart for service. Reservoirs hold the liquids, and a pump and small lines carry them to the drum, so a washer that dispenses too little, too much or nothing leads us to the lines, the pump and the cartridge before the control. We also look at hybrid controls, which combine touch and a dial, when presses do not register.
The glass door needs a gentle hand and a good seal, so we check hinge alignment and the boot for residue. Before ordering parts we read the model and serial from the label, because SIGNATURE trim is specific. The price is written before work starts, and the repair carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.

Error codes this model can show
What is ezDispense and how do you service it?
It automatically dispenses the right amount of detergent and fabric softener. When dosing is off we check the reservoirs, the lines, the pump and the cartridge for residue or a clog.
Is the finish on the WM9700HPA special?
It has a platinum finish, a flat front and a tempered glass door. We handle the door and trim with care and confirm the exact model and serial before ordering parts.
How big is the drum?
The listing gives 5.8 cubic feet Mega Capacity. A large drum puts more weight on the suspension at spin, so we check leveling and balance whenever the cabinet shakes.
