Sensor Dry may read the load as dry because the sensor bars are coated with residue. We clean them and test the wiring before replacing anything.
How do sensor bars get dirty?
Fabric softener and dryer sheets leave a film on the bars. A gentle cleaning often restores normal readings. A gentle wipe with a damp cloth or mild cleaner takes the film off without scratching the bars. Wiping them is quick.
What does a 7.1 cubic feet drum mean for service?
It is a roomy drum, so heavy loads need good airflow. We check the vent and the lint path as part of every visit.
