DLEX8980V, a current LG front load electric dryer, has a 9.0 cu. ft. mega capacity drum. It includes TurboSteam, AI-selected dry settings, ThinQ app functions with ThinQ Care alerts, and FlowSense indicators for duct clogging and the lint filter.

Do larger dryers use a bigger vent?
The vent size follows the installation requirements for the model, not the drum alone. We check that the existing duct is clear and not crushed, and suggest changes if the run is too long.
Why does FlowSense keep warning after I cleaned the filter?
The restriction may be further along the duct, or the sensing path may have failed. We measure airflow at the machine and at the outside hood to find out.
What does ThinQ Care do on this dryer?
It sends alerts to the app about the dryer condition. If alerts stop arriving, we check the network link first and the dryer electronics second.
