The DLGX3251R is an older LG gas dryer in the TrueSteam group, with a 7.3 cu. ft. ultra large capacity and SteamFresh and SteamSanitary cycles. Its model number has R, V and W finish versions, and many homes still run one.

Why does my burner shut off before the cycle ends?
Restricted exhaust, a weak igniter or a flame sensing problem can do it. We measure airflow, clean the duct and then test the igniter, the gas valve coils and the flame sensing in turn.
How do I know which finish version I have?
The label shows the full number with its finish letter, usually inside the door opening or on the back. We read it on the machine and match every part to that number.
Can the steam function be repaired separately?
Yes. Steam uses its own hose, screen and valve, so we can test and repair it without touching the gas side. That keeps the work, and the price, limited to the part that failed.
