The DLEX5500V is a front-load-style electric dryer with a 7.4 cu. ft. drum, a Wrinkle Care option and a door that most models let you rehang on either side. It comes in two finishes.
When we visit one of these, the first tool is a meter on the outlet. A 240-volt dryer that gets only one leg of power will tumble but not heat, which looks like a failed element but is really a breaker or cord problem. If power is good, we test the element and thermal fuse, then walk the vent from the cabinet to the wall cap.
Noise calls go to the rollers and belt. A dryer that will not start goes to the door switch. We read the model and serial from the label before ordering parts and we quote the price in writing before we begin.

Why does my dryer tumble but stay cold?
Either the element or fuse is open, or one leg of the 240-volt supply is missing. We check the outlet and the breaker before replacing parts.
Can a door swap cause a start problem?
Yes. If the latch no longer presses the switch squarely, the dryer behaves as if the door is open. We realign the strike and test the switch.
How long do roller and belt repairs take?
