A dial-and-display control gives us a clean test: if the dial turns and the display lights, the board is probably powered and the trouble sits in the door, the heater or the sensors. If the display stays dark, we go to the supply and the harness.
Steam adds a cold water connection, so a refresh cycle that does nothing leads to the hose screen and the inlet valve. For drying problems we follow the airflow, then the sensor bars and the heater. We confirm the model and serial from the label before ordering parts, and a written price comes first.

What if the dial turns but the display is blank?
That points to the display connection or the board feed. We test voltage at the harness and reseat the connector before suggesting a replacement, because a loose plug often looks like a dead screen.
Why is my steam refresh cycle weak?
Low water flow from a clogged screen is common. We check the supply valve and hose first, then the inlet valve and the steam nozzle for mineral scale, and clear whatever is restricting flow.
Can the dryer be used without the app?
Yes. The dial and display run cycles on their own, which also makes them a useful test when we are separating a network problem from a machine problem.
