What Wrinkle Care means
On LG dryers, Wrinkle Care is a normal end-of-cycle mode, not an error. After the drying finishes, the drum turns for 10 seconds and then rests for six minutes, and it repeats that pattern for up to three hours. The point is to keep clothes loose so they do not set creases while you are away. You may hear the drum start again some time after the cycle seems finished.
Common causes of Wrinkle Care
- A Wrinkle Care setting that is on for the cycle
- A finished cycle that has not been opened yet
- A cycle option left selected from earlier use
1. Open the door and take the clothes out. 2. Fold or hang them while they are still warm. 3. If you prefer, turn the Wrinkle Care option off for the next cycle. 4. Leave the door ajar afterward so the drum can air out.
