Most common issues on this model
- EasyLoad door hinge, latch and switch
- Steam hose, screen and valve
- Vent run and lint filter for slow drying
- Sensor bars for damp loads
- ThinQ link when alerts or remote start fail
The DLEX7800VE is a current electric dryer with TurboSteam, the EasyLoad dual-opening door, Sensor Dry and ThinQ Care alerts in a 7.3 cu. ft. drum. A DLEX7800WE is listed with it.
Two features drive most of our checks on this type. The two-way door has hinge and latch parts that can loosen with use, and the steam system has a water line that can clog or kink. Either one can stop a cycle, so we test the door switch and the water supply before blaming the control board.
When clothes come out damp, we trace the vent and clean the sensor bars. We read the model and serial from the label before ordering parts so that the color variant and the door parts match, and we provide a written price first.

What is the most common door issue on an EasyLoad dryer?
A loose hinge or worn latch that lets the door sit out of line. We tighten or replace the worn piece and test that the switch closes.
How do I know the steam supply is the cause?
If dry cycles work but steam cycles do nothing, the water line is the likely cause. We check the faucet, hose and screen, then the inlet valve.
Will a different color number use different parts?
Mostly the same working parts, with differences in some outer pieces and trim. That is why we read the full model and serial from the label before we order anything for the visit.
