DLEX8100V
LG DLEX8100V 9.0 Cu. Ft. TrueSteam Electric Dryer Repair

Most common issues on this model
- Steam supply, hose screen and inlet valve
- Duct clogging indicator and vent run
- Sensor bars for damp loads
- Heating element and thermostats
- Drum rollers and belt for noise
Few current dryers match the DLEX8100V, a 9.0 cu. ft. mega-capacity electric dryer with TrueSteam, Sensor Dry and FlowSense indicators, designed to run quietly.
At 9.0 cu. ft. this is among the largest drums LG offers, so the duct and blower carry a heavier job. FlowSense gives an early warning, and when the indicator lights we measure airflow at the wall and clean the blower housing as well as the duct. A short, straight duct run helps a dryer this size more than any part.
For steam trouble we start with the cold water faucet and hose, then the screen and the valve. If the drum turns but there is no heat, the element and thermal fuse are next. We confirm the model and serial from the label before ordering any part, and you see a written price first.

Error codes this model can show
Does a larger drum need a bigger vent?
It needs a clear, short run at the standard duct size. Longer or crushed runs hurt a big drum more, so we measure and suggest changes only when airflow demands it.
Why does the TrueSteam cycle stop early?
A low water supply or a clogged valve screen is a common reason. We test flow at the hose and the inlet valve before replacing anything.
My quiet dryer has become loud. Why?
New noise usually follows worn rollers, a stretched belt or an idler with a dry bearing. We find the source by hand-testing each, then replace the worn parts.
