The DLEY1201V is an ultra-large-capacity electric steam dryer with a Wrinkle Care option and electronic cycle control, sold in two finishes. It needs the usual 240-volt circuit, a vent and a cold water line for steam.
A steam dryer fails in two separate ways, and the water side is the one owners are less likely to suspect. A closed faucet, a pinched hose or a clogged screen will keep steam from working while normal drying carries on. We rule these out first, then test the inlet valve.
Standard drying calls follow our usual order of lint, duct, element, sensors and drum. We read the model and serial from the label before ordering any parts, and you see a written price before work starts.

Error codes this model can show
Why does my steam dryer still dry normally but never steam?
The water side is blocked or off. We check the faucet, hose and screen, then the inlet valve, and leave the dry system alone if it works.
Does steam leave water inside the dryer?
A small amount is normal during a steam cycle. If you find pooling water, we check the hose joints, the inlet valve and the drum seal for a leak, and fix the source.
What is a quick check before I call?
Make sure the water faucet is open, the hose is not kinked and the vent is clear. If all are fine, call us and we will test the valve.
