The two features that shape our visit are the InstaView glass panel and the Door-in-Door compartment. If the panel does not light when you knock, or the small inner door does not close fully, we inspect the lighting, the latch and the gaskets before looking at anything else. A door that sits slightly open can trigger the alarm and raise the freezer temperature.
Because the cooling here relies on a fan-driven air path between the compartments, we also check fan movement and frost behind the panels when temperatures drift. Error codes this model can show
The InstaView panel will not light when I knock. What do we check?
We check that the refrigerator has power and the door is closing fully, then look at the panel lighting and its connection. Models of this type also need the door switch to register properly.
Why does the alarm sound even though the Door-in-Door looks shut?
The inner access door has its own gasket and latch. If either is worn or out of line, the alarm can sound while the main door seems closed. We test both seals and the door switch.
Can you service the Wi-Fi control?
