WM4000HBA
LG WM4000HBA TurboWash Washer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- TurboWash 360 spray nozzles and water pressure
- Steam supply and heating for the Allergiene cycle
- Water inlet screens and valves
- Door seal and drain pump filter
The WM4000HBA is an LG front load washer with a 4.5 cubic feet Ultra Large Capacity drum, and the WM4000HWA shares its listing. LG describes TurboWash 360 Technology for powerful cleaning of big loads in under 30 minutes, AI technology that selects settings, an AAFA certified Allergiene Cycle with steam, and ThinQ app control.
The TurboWash system depends on spray nozzles and good incoming water pressure, so we check hose connections, inlet screens and the nozzles for mineral buildup. A washer that cleans poorly or fills slowly often has a restricted inlet rather than a control problem. For steam cycles we look at the heater path and the door seal.
Before ordering parts we confirm the model and serial from the label. We run a short cycle to watch fill, spray and drain, and you get a written price before any work starts. Every repair carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.

What does TurboWash 360 change for service?
It relies on spray nozzles and steady water pressure. If a cycle fills slowly or cleaning seems weak, we check the inlet screens, hoses and nozzles for buildup before suspecting the control.
Is the WM4000HWA the same washer?
It is listed together with the WM4000HBA as a variant. We still read the exact model and serial from your label so the parts we order fit your unit.
Does this washer use steam?
The Allergiene Cycle uses steam to deep clean, so a steam check covers the water supply, heating path and door sealing. We test this during a short cycle.
